The academic perspective
Systems and signals, neuroengineering and applied artificial intelligence. Understanding the mechanisms behind data and models.
About the owner
Engineer. Professor. Owner of MNKY Business.
From signals that control a prosthetic hand to data describing an industrial process. Luka Mejić connects academic research with the world of applied engineering.

Luka Mejić, PhD, is the owner of MNKY Business and an Professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad. His academic field is systems, signals and control.
He has completed his doctorate on automatic configuration of soft sensors, models that estimate process variables from available data - with a real-world case study in cement industry.
His teaching includes biomedical engineering and the application of artificial intelligence in general engineering. These subjects bring signals, algorithms and practical questions together: how to understand data and turn it into useful functionality.
MNKY Business brings a business dimension to this wider engineering context. The company develops custom software and works on industrial automation and SCADA systems, through outsourcing and collaboration with client teams.
